Step 1: Exporting Identity

Assuming that you currently have your TeamSpeak client setup on your PC with your permissions etc, the first step is to export your current Identity.

To do this, open TeamSpeak on your PC and at the top of the client open "Settings" -> "Identities" (Shortcut: Ctrl+I). Once the identities page is open you should see a list of your current possible identities. If you have never opened or changed anything in here before, all you will see is a default identity. For the purposes of transferring identities, it is recommended that you rename this identity for ease of identification later on.

Your identities page should look something like this:

At the top right of this page, you should see an option called "Export". This is what we want to use. When clicking this option you will see a warning message pop up. Click "Yes" to continue. Save the file to an easily accessible place (i.e. desktop), and name it the name of your identity.

This will create a .ini file with your identity inside of it, and this is what stores your permissions for use on the server.

Step 2: Transferring Your Identity to Android

Once you have done the above, you now need to transfer this file to your Android device. You can do this through numerous methods, such as emailing it to yourself, or directly copying it via a USB cable. The .ini file must be placed in your "Download" folder for the Android app to be able to find it. Once you have the file on your device, you are ready to move on to the next step.

Step 3: Importing Your Identity

Upon opening a fresh install of the TeamSpeak app for Android, you should see a page that looks like this:

For identity editing, we want the middle button in the top bar:

Once clicked, this will take you to the Identities page. Here we will press the button at the bottom of the screen:

Assuming that you have transferred your .ini file to the "Download" folder, you should see it as an option in the popup box:

Select the identity, and it will import into the app.

Step 4: Selecting the Correct Identity

Now that we have the correct identity imported into the app, we now have to tell the app to use this identity as opposed to it's default when connecting to a server.

In either the "New Bookmark" or the editing of a current bookmark pages, the option at the bottom of the list should be "Identity" with a drop down box of available options:

Select the correct identity here and save your bookmark.

That is it, you have now successfully transferred your identity and all attached permissions to your Android client.
