Similar drop downs to those that are used with members are also available upon clicking a unit, and can be used to quickly add and remove members, among other functions.
Additionally, if it is ever necessary to reorder the sub-units within the unit you manage, pressing "Enable Sortmode" in the right pane will allow you to click and drag units into a different order. Press "Disable Sortmode" when you are finished.
